Terena or Sometimes your first judgment IS wrong

So Dave has a friend named Terena who just happens to be super hot (although that is of no bearing to the discussion). I really enjoy hanging out with her. She has a bubbly and infectious personality that makes it impossible to maintain a bad mood around her. She is also not a ditz, contrary to what I had originally thought. She has a very down to earth quality about her that is refreshing. While I tend to think about grandiose concepts and ideas like politics and creating, she seems to be more grounded in the moment. It's strange, but I feel absolutely no need to put on any sort of performance for her, or even attempt to not be an idiot. Whereas some people have responded to things I say with groans or confused looks, she says something back that reverses the situation onto me. That forces me to have to be even sharper than before. I like that. While it might be tempting to try to apply the old saying of "don't judge a book by its cover" to this situation I would hold off on that. This is merely one of the rare times where I was wrong with my first impression. And by rare I mean Volcano erupting in Winnipeg rare.
