Karaoke Revolution Party or Soon the Hell Begins
Last night the gang played a rousing round of Karaoke Revolution Party at Ryan's place. There was much villainy perpetrated as I lost every duel mode we played, despite almost eliminating Erin on the "Brick House" song. The highlight of the night was when Ryan contested Stobes on "I will always love you." The horrid shrill cries that came out of their mouths would easily be confused as a team of Banshees on the moors of Scotland. Had there been a pack of wolves wandering the streets of Westdale, I'm sure they would have come to the window to bay along with the duo. It was quite possibly the funniest thing in the history of Karaoke... one of those transient moments that is lost forever, impossible to duplicate. If only we'd been filming it!
The Christmas season will soon be here and that means that I will be working like a madman. I hope to try to get 30 hours of OT if I can. If only to try to raise some more cheddar for the future endeavors that I will be undertaking. I was supposed to pick up an extra shift today, but the dude who was to give it to me decided to pass it along to someone else... curses!
Oh well, it did give me the time to send out emails to my professors in the hopes of attaining letters of reference for the UBC masters program.
